If you’re looking to learn to surf in Australia then this week long surf adventure from Sydney to Byron Bay is the perfect way to start or finish your East Coast Adventure!
You’ll join the crew from Mojo Surf who will be teaching you everything you’ll need to know to get amongst the waves!
Mojo famous Spot X Surf Camp will be your base for the bulk of the week Рstaying at their beachfront location, just a  short walk from the waves.
In the mornings your experienced and certified instructors will run you through pop and paddle techniques as well as beach safety before you get wet and catch some waves! The afternoon free surfs are an opportunity to practice your skills even more Рwith your instructors on hand to offer some tips and advice!
Then after a hard day in the water you can kick back around the campfire with your new found surf buddies and rest up your arms for another day in the waves.
Your final few days will be spent in the beachside town of Byron Bay at Mojo Byron (based at the infamous Arts Factory Hostel) where you’ll get to experience the awesome vibes of the town and of course sample some of the amazing surf breaks on offer there.
It’s a full week of surf, sun, sea and stoke!

Day 1
Head north out of Sydney to the legendary beachfront surf camp – Spot X. Check in, chill out and hang with your new friends round the campfire. Meals: D
Day 2-4
Spend the next three days learning how to surf from the pros with two surf sessions a day. Between surfs there’s loads of fun to be had with plenty of other activities on offer around the camp. Your three delicious meals a day will give you loads of energy for hitting the waves! Meals: B/L/D
Day 5
After surfing in the morning and hanging out in the afternoon it will be time to hop on the bus and head to the famous town of Byron Bay. You will have time to have a delicious dinner, check into your accommodation and hit the town Mojo style! Meals: B/L/D
Day 6
Up early for breakfast and surf lesson with the Byron Mojo team. You have the afternoon free to explore the town, relax on the beach or hang at the camp. At night head out with your friends and the Mojo crew. Meals: B/D
Day 7
Up early for breakfast, check out and your last surf lesson. Stay longer in Byron Bay or head off to your next destination. Meals: B

These trips are also available in reverse or Boomerang (return to departure point) or to start and end in Brisbane (extra $30 each way). Please note that Sydney Boomerang trips will just stay at Spot X for the entire trip.

If cancellation occurs within 30 days from departure, 25% of payment will be retained by Mojosurf. Full amount will not be refunded if cancelled within 14 days. Mojosurf recommends that all persons take out personal travel insurance as Mojosurf are not responsible for injuries, loss or damage of equipment or bad breath. All surfing participants must be able to swim 50 metres unassisted.
All passengers need to be at departure point at least 15 mins before departure time.

DEPART Brisbane – 8am from Bus Stop 125, Roma Street Station, Ground Floor, outside, opposite QLD Police Headquarters. However, this will incur an additional cost of $30, payable direct to Mojosurf on arrival into Spot X.
Please note that transport can vary between buses and trains.
If you are booked onto a Boomerang (return) trip you MUST inform Mojosurf of this when reconfriming so the correct transfers can be organised. Please also note that Boomerang (return) trips from Sydneyonly visit Spot X
