Day 1
Perth to Kalbarri
Our first stop today is the impressive Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Enjoy a fully guided tour through these amazing limestone formations and drop in at the Discovery Centre before we have lunch by the sea. After a quick stop in the town of Geraldton it’s on to Big River Ranch for some true blue Aussie hospitality and our overnight stay. (L, D)
Day 2
Kalbarri to Shark Bay
Today we visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Natures Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Here, you have the option to try abseiling into the gorge! ($30) If conditions allow us, we will cool off with a swim in the Murchison River before we’re back on the bus traveling north to Shell Beach and the town of Denham for our accommodation. (B, L, D)
Day 3
Shark Bay to Kalbarri
This morning we will meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some up and close amazing photos. Then join optional 1 hour wild life sail ($35), hire a Kayak and go for a paddle ($15), chill out on the beach or at the resort. We will be back on the road this afternoon then we will be visiting the breathing rock formations and the Stromatolites, before we settle in to our accommodation in Kalbarri township. Our day will end by watching the sunset overlooking the Murchison River. (B, L, D)
Day 4
Kalbarri to Perth
This morning we visit the Kalbarri coastal cliffs and Pot Alley, a picturesque ocean gorge boasting spectacular ocean scenery. Next is the Greenough Wildlife Park where you can feed the Kangaroos and get up, close and personal with the friendly snakes. Then we will finish off the tour in style as you try the unique sport of Sandboarding in the amazing Lancelin sand dunes! Finally, you’ll kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch to Perth, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm. (B, L)
